Mil-Dot Range Finder (MDRF) V1.0.4

I've recently uploaded a little Windows application - MDRF (Mil-Dot Range Finder) - to the ChairGun Download site. With a little help from my friends, it went from release (V1.0.0) to final in just three days. Seems like a lot of people have a use for it - 275 downloads in 72 hours!
It's a stand-alone at the moment but will be integrated as an Extra into the next version of ChairGun2. I'm always happy to consider enhancements to MDRF or any of the ChairGun software products. Please let me know ...

ChairGun2 V1.1.15 and TargetGen V1.0.03

I’ve just uploaded ChairGun2 V1.1.15 (ChairGun2_Setup.exe) to the download site at www.chairgun.com. This latest iteration fixes a strange bug in Turret Label printing - apparently dependant on operating system - as well as adding a number of small enhancements. A new enhanced version of TargetGen (V1.0.03) is included in the ChairGun2 setup package and is also available as a stand-alone package if required.

TargetGen Update available now

Just a quick note to mention that I’ve recently updated TargetGen to V1.0.02 on the ChairGun website www.chairgun.com. One small bug has been fixed (25 mm circles always printed as 12 mm circles…) and, as well as a general tidy-up, there are now options for drawing 100 Circles and to add crosshairs on the 100 Circles, Squares and Dots.

Thanks to Gwynn for noticing the initial bug.

I’ve also included the option (on the download site) to download either the full TargetGen setup file (TargetGen_Setup.exe 3,728,825 Bytes) OR – if you’ve already got TargetGen V1.0.01 and/or ChairGun2 installed – the straight TargetGen.exe executable (TargetGen.exe 176,128 Bytes i.e. without the device drivers, etc.).

Welcome to the ChairGun blog

So, here it is – a spot on the Web to ask questions, whinge or generally comment about the ChairGun ballistic calculators - ChairGun2, ChairGun Mobile and CG2Panel - and the target generator TargetGen. All of these are available for free download from the ChairGun Download Centre at www.chairgun.com. Free to download and use but you’ll need to purchase a registration to get rid of the nag-screens and to add a little extra functionality.
I get lots of emails with questions about ChairGun2 (particularly) and try to answer them all in good time but this blog might just be an even better way of distributing the answers. So, if you've got a question about the ChairGun family just ask away ...
